Assumption Life among Top 100 best places to work in Canada for 2010
Assumption Life has been recognized by a Mediacorp Canada Inc. survey as one of the 100 best places to work in Canada for 2010. This year’s winners were announced in a special editorial supplement of The Globe and Mail and in a special issue of Maclean’s magazine on newsstands since last week.

The selection of Canada’s Top 100 Employers
To develop this year’s Top 100 list, Mediacorp examined the recruitment histories of over 75,000 employers across Canada. From this initial group, Mediacorp invited 10,000 of the fastest-growing employers, plus 6,000 other companies and organizations in industries that Mediacorp editors wanted to examine more closely, to apply for this year’s competition.
The final selection was based on a detailed review of the company’s operations, HR practices, employee feedback from a satisfaction survey, together with Mediacorp’s own research. Employers were compared to other organizations in their field to determine which offers the most progressive and forward-thinking programs in attracting and retaining quality employees.
