Our objective is to allocate available funds in a fair and equitable manner, in alignment with our mission, evaluation criteria, and annual budget.

Contribution: Donations or Sponsorships
A contribution may take the form of a cash donation, a sponsorship, volunteer hours, or promotional items.
What is the difference?
- A sponsorship is a partnership that allows Assumption Life to support initiatives while also strengthening its presence and relationships within the communities it serves.
- A donation, on the other hand, is provided without any expectation of visibility or return.
Selection Criteria
- A formal application is required for all sponsorship and donation requests.
- For sponsorship requests, it is recommended to include a sponsorship package outlining partnership levels, their value, and the visibility opportunities provided.
- Requests over $2,000 must be submitted by August 31 to be considered in the following year’s budget.
- Requests of $2,000 or less must be received at least three months prior to the event.
- Only one contribution per year may be granted to the same organization.
- Renewals are not automatic; each request is reviewed individually.
- For projects promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles, the number of people reached or encouraged to be active is an important factor.
- Organizations requesting more than $2,000 may be invited to meet with the team responsible to present their project and discuss its community impact.
All requests are assessed based on their impact, alignment with our focus areas, and available budget.

Due to the exceptional enthusiasm for our program and the high volume of requests received, we have exceeded our 2026 objectives by encouraging thousands of people across the country to be active and by supporting more than 130 organizations.
As the 2026 funding envelope is now fully allocated, we invite organizations with projects taking place in 2027 to submit their applications now using the form below.
